Term 2 Week 9 The Final Countdown

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the final countdown for Term 2. I cannot believe how quickly this term has flown by and how much learning we have jam packed into ten weeks.

Dance Concert:

What a buzz there was around the school. We are so lucky to have Mrs Haines in the house.... how was that soundtrack? The kids were in such great spirits, and I was amazed at their stage presence. Thanks to those parents that were able to attend and helped in getting make-up and costumes sorted...greatly appreciated!

Drum roll please .......

Congratulations to our Week 7 Merit Award winner, Keenan Rogan

Cross country carnival

I truly have never been prouder of 5C and our class culture, than on this day. The Spirit of Jesus moments shown by your children didn't go unnoticed by the Leadership Team.... Jobe, Clancy and Ollie running with Junior School children, encouraging and supporting them. Summer and Zoe running the track hand in hand... Finn cheering for Wyatt... the roar that went up when Isla's little brother won his race... the guard of honour the children made for our Year 6 leaders.... I can go on and on..... just know my heart was bursting!!

Seesaw

Keep an eye out for some See Saw posts this week. You will be treated to your child reading their persuasive text to you, as well as the 'Snakes and Ladders' Penance Edition game that they have created. I'm sure you will be impressed!

Important Dates:

Friday 23rd June – Surprise assembly for Mr Lee (keep this quiet) wear red and black.

Friday 30th June 9.00am Euey's Farewell Assembly followed by morning tea at 10.40am

Thank you all for a wonderful Term 2, and I look forward to another great semester with your children! Wishing you a restful, safe and blessed school holidays.

Warm Regards,
Anne Coltrinari
