Term 2 Week 9 The Final Countdown

  Dear Parents, Welcome to the final countdown for Term 2. I cannot believe how quickly this term has flown by and how much learning we have jam packed into ten weeks. Dance Concert: What a buzz there was around the school. We are so lucky to have Mrs Haines in the house.... how was that soundtrack? The kids were in such great spirits, and I was amazed at their stage presence. Thanks to those parents that were able to attend and helped in getting make-up and costumes sorted...greatly appreciated! Drum roll please  ....... Congratulations to our Week 7 Merit Award winner,  Keenan Rogan Cross country carnival I truly have never been prouder of 5C and our class culture, than on this day. The Spirit of Jesus moments shown by your children didn't go unnoticed by the Leadership Team.... Jobe, Clancy and Ollie running with Junior School children, encouraging and supporting them. Summer and Zoe running the track hand in hand... Finn cheering for Wyatt... the roar that went up when Isla'

Sugar Overload

Kaya Parents, Sorry to bust in on your weekend... I would like your support with our Sugar Overload project. Please assist your child with going through some pantry items or take them along to Coles on your next shop, so they can read the nutritional panel on packages and record the amount of sugar per 100g serve of the product.   I would like just the data collection done and ready to go by Monday morning. . . handwritten on note paper is fine, the children can tabulate on Word during class time. Term 2 Week 7

Dear Parents, I hope you had a cozy, restful weekend, maybe beside a roaring fireplace, with hot cocoa, hearty meals ... I enjoyed some much-needed family time and feel rested and replenished as we slide into the last few weeks of term. There have been some nasty coughs and colds going around so if your child is not feeling well, a rest day at home is A-okay! WINTER CARNIVAL The 2023 Winter Sports Carnival is on this Thursday at Hay Park, Bunbury. The bus leaves OLC at 8.20am sharp.... please do not be late. Looks like there will be some rain during the day, so please remind your child to pack a change of clothes, towel and waterproof jacket. Might see you out there if you are coming along to support the OLC teams. A NOTE FROM MRS HAINES The OLC Dance Concert is coming up:   WEEK 8 Friday 16 th   June, starting at 11am .
